Here is our new family-sized monster tent. Notice how we rough it. The truck pulls right up to the tent and we have a private bathroom :)
This was also the first time he got to use the tackle box he got for his birthday.
I love this picture.
The first of many fish Ty caught. The Kaisers and two other kids came along.
Ty's happy dance for catching a fish.
He lips them himself now! Notice the scar on his tongue from his 2nd birthday tricycle accident :)
The kids played in the Kaiser's tent after dinner to give the adults a short break....before a major thunder and lightening storm rolled in! Yeah....seriously.
We toughed it out in our new tent with some stickers, books, and cuddling. It was almost bedtime anyway. These are from my cell phone because our camera was in the truck staying dry.
Look at the crazy bug.
Since we didn't get to eat s'mores last night, we stayed for some fishing and a breakfast of champions. Hot dogs and s'mores. Yummy.
This is the trail from the tents to the pond/fire area. Ty just couldn't get enough of running up and down the trail.
And this is his reaction when we told him it was time to go home.
Keith was a proud father when Ty said he needed a "Banbaid". He has bass thumb (a torn up thumb from lipping fish and throwing them in the pond).

Now, that's one happy camper!
I love camping...looks like you guys had a great time! :)
Fun! Ty is already hooked! Glad you got some nice family camping gear Jacque. You'll be doing lots of it if you want to see your husband and son! :)
Your hair looks cute. It's funny though because it almost just looks like it's pulled back in a pony tail.
Yeah, I'm about to get a new sleeping bag and a real cabin. I'm requiring a flannel liner in my bag. I am not into roughing it if at all possible.
