Potty Training

Ty is officially potty training now. He moved up to the 2 year old class on Monday and is doing well. Now, he has to walk everywhere (versus being pulled in a wagon), sit at a toddler table for meals (versus a highchair), and takes a nap in the "big room" with all of the big kids (versus in his room with just his class). He's had no trouble adjusting.

His teacher told me this morning that he is really enjoying gluing paper and that he'll be trying scissors soon.

She also told me to get him some pull-ups because all the kids in her class are potty training. She puts them on the potty every hour! She said he went a TINY bit yesterday in the potty!!! Yeah, Ty!

I guess we need to start doing something around here too, huh?

Wow! They really teach him a lot...that is great! Good luck with the potty training. :)

Yes- he has come such a long way! He cried so much when he first went there and now he prefers to go. Staying home all day is too boring!

Quinn- maybe you'll feel that way 1.5 years from now! Ha- I still hate it.

Aww! Yeah, I am pretty sure I will never get used to the idea or like it! But it's what we have to do! I just think it's so great that they are working with him on potty training! That way he doesn't forget everything you will teach him at home! :)
