Okay, so I try not to be annoying and brag too much on here. But, I'm going to be THAT MOM right now.
Ty's teacher reports that he knows his alphabet. He did better than all other kids in the class on flashcards. Also, the other day in the car he asked me some questions about the gearshift. I was explaining that the top one said reverse and that it reverse was the same thing as backwards. Then he said, "we are learning about words that start with R in school." When I looked at his papers from school later that evening, he had been working on R that day.
Keith and I have also decided that he is really good at art. He does art at school daily. He also asks to do it most days when he gets home. I'll have to post some of it on here when I get time to catch up on my pictures, etc. Being being THAT MOM, I recently took note of the art in his classroom and his is the best. He is just so patient and precise when he does it.
CJ is also getting good reports from her teachers. At school, she "picks up things quicker than the other kids in class." She is the only one that can go forwards on the tricycle/bike thing. She is also learning animal sounds and sign language. At music class, her teacher says each week that she can't believe CJ can keep a steady beat at her age.
Okay, if you haven't already stopped reading to ignore me you can now :)
