Ty drew this fishing pole this morning. Wow! This is the first thing he has done that looks like a real picture. I'm not really sure how to say that nicely :) Anyway, you know what I mean.
I was feeding CJ and he was playing on the table next to me. I heard him whispering to himself about a fishing pole. After a couple of minutes, I asked him if I could see his picture. When he held it up I was shocked. I thought maybe Keith had drawn a sloppy fishing pole and he was coloring it in and drawing lines on it or something. I mean, what two year old (okay, he's almost three) draws a handle, reel, and the guides on the pole? So, I told him to go show Keith. Then, I heard Keith ask him if I helped him with it. Ha! We couldn't believe it. He was so proud of himself too. It was so exciting.
Later, I was telling my parents about it and my dad said he was drawing fishing poles with him yesterday. They were talking about the parts of the pole and drawing them. So, he didn't come up with that level of detail all on his own. That explained it. We're very proud.
