Zoo Day with Grady

Today was a Mommy and Ty day...these are few and far between now. So, we went to the zoo with Ty's friend, Grady. We went with him last summer too but Ty was too young to remember. So, it was like everything was new again!

Grady couldn't wait to show Ty this statue. I took the picture from the back of it because I wanted to get the city in the picture rather than the zoo. Ty really liked the statue because the wheels turned but he couldn't understand my explanation of, "It's just art.". Once I told him it was a trick, he thought it was funny.

This is hard to see in the picture, but the bear was swimming and playing in the water right in front of them. It was really funny.

This picture cracks me up. I was trying to get a picture of the boys with the penguins behind them and one swam up to Ty really fast and distracted him.
