My c-section is finally scheduled!
Tuesday, 11/11 at 5:20 pm (that's 4:20 pm for all of you Valpo folks).
I'm highly concerned about the fact that I can't eat or drink all day :) Apparently, the O.R. is very busy because local patients were waiting for elective surgeries until the hospital opened. Oh well?!?
Oh, and I had an appointment today. Everything is still fine and I am scheduled to go back again next week.

It's official!
Why can't you eat? Because of the c-section? Telling a pregnant lady she has to not eat all day? That's crazy talk!
Yeah, I guess they treat it like any other surgery. I think it's stupid though because people have emergency surgeries all the time and have probably eaten.
I didn't get to eat last time because the way things were going they knew I was probably going to have a c-section. It wasn't as bad though because I was in the hospital...a little preoccupied with labor. This time I'll be sitting at home doing nothing!

Word to the wise--bring lots of candy bars when you come to visit Jacque. She gets really, really cranky when she is hungry.
Leslie gave me that tip when they were at IU. Jacque and Leslie always carried candy bars for each other in their purses. I have never forgot it. Thanks Leslie.
