Today, we went to the zoo! It was Ty's first time ever and he had a blast. Until he got tired, he was the loudest kid there. Every single animal he saw, he would yell its name as loud as he could. It was adorable. We missed you there, Daddy!

Here he is with his friend, Grady. Grady has a season pass and lives in Indy. He was an awesome guide and knew how to get to all of the animals he wanted to show us.
For those of you who know Ty well, you know he is obsessed with water. Well, he was not only excited about the animals, but also all of the water at the zoo. This waterfall was particularly exciting to him.
They even had a place where you could pet the sharks. Ty didn't want to do that, so he just watched.
Some of the pictures didn't turn out very well because of reflections,etc. Anyway, this was the polar bear. I think it was Ty's favorite animal at the zoo today!

Another bad picture...this is the koala bear. They are a special exhibit right now at the zoo. Apparently, they sleep about 22 hours a day so we were very lucky to see this one eating.

Looks like a great first trip to the zoo!! Does Ty do animal noises?
Daddy will definitely not miss the next Zoo trip.
He knows some. His favorite is a tiger sound.
