Shake, Rattle, and Roll

This morning we were woken up by an earthquake! It was freaky...it sounded and felt like severe wind at first. Then, I realized I was actually shaking in bed (Keith is on his fishing trip, so he missed it). I ran out into the hall and could hear all of the dishes in the kitchen shaking. It was wild.

I think it was extra scary for me because I happen to be having a scary dream at that time and then woke up to that.

Apparently the last one we had was 1987 and it was not quite as strong. I vaguely remember that because we lived in Indy then. I remember the milk shaking in the glasses at the dinner table, but I didn't remember the feeling of the ground shaking and the sounds. So, it was like I was a first-timer today.

Really made me think of how scary a big one would be and I, of course, worry about my brother and his wife in San Fran...
