Daycare Update

Yesterday was still really bad, but not as bad as Monday.

Ty actually smiled when we got to daycare. He ate breakfast (not all of it, but at least he didn't throw it down like he did on Monday), and played a little more. They said he still cried off and on all day, but there were no tears- not the panic cry that he had on Monday. I picked him up at about 10:30. We tried to have a normal day after that. He was pretty fussy and his separation axiety is in full swing. I know it's a developmental stage, it's just really bad timing! I put him down for a nap and he just cried in his crib the whole time.

The good news is, since I've had him home most of the time this week, he's already transitioned to their eating schedule and is off of his daytime bottles (I haven't tried to take the wake-up and bedtime bottles yet). He's on whole milk instead of formula too- out of a sippy cup. I figured if he was on their eating schedule that might help him there too.

Today, our goal is to stay through lunch and come home before naptime (naptime is going to be the worst battle because he doesn't even nap at home half the time)...so I'll be picking him up around 12:15 unless they call sooner.

I wanted him to stay the whole day by the end of the week...but we'll see.
